About this video

I posted 37 videos across nine profiles on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube during my first full week making videos full time. They got 6,850 views and 68 likes. My seven X posts got 562 impressions and seven likes. The cartoons got most of the engagement. My product account got 81 views and no likes. I walk through the accounts, compare the results with X, and explain what I want to try next. Results cover public uploads from 19–25 October 2026, captured on 25 October. Cross-posts count as separate uploads. The platforms count views and impressions differently. [00:00:00.000] But compared to then my UGC videos, [00:00:04.513] this got in total almost 7,000 views. [00:00:08.433] And on x, I got total only 600. [00:00:12.433] Today, I wanted to talk about my experience posting videos [00:00:18.867] and UGC videos for my first week. [00:00:25.200] So I managed to do 37 uploads across nine profiles [00:00:31.873] on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. [00:00:33.847] So I have my developer account, where I post similar videos [00:00:42.967] to this one, where I just discuss my experience building [00:00:46.767] products, what tools I use, how I manage my agents, and so on. [00:00:56.767] Then I have another one for kind of random cartoon videos [00:01:01.847] that actually got the most views and likes. [00:01:05.367] So these are made specifically for the more general crowd [00:01:12.247] that is available on the UGC platforms like TikTok. [00:01:17.687] So that's why they got the most likes, probably. [00:01:22.807] And my third platform is one of my products only, Trend Seeker. [00:01:28.007] So that is mainly about product videos and then updates [00:01:36.407] from our website. [00:01:37.607] So as you can see here, we have a newsletter [00:01:41.767] that I also send out every week to my 250 newsletter followers. [00:01:49.207] And I make the UGC content, where I then [00:01:54.167] generate videos showing these kind of problems [00:01:59.167] that people are having with their dashcams, for example. [00:02:02.367] And now, if you go back to x.com and my profile, [00:02:08.560] then you see that my posts get something like 180 views, [00:02:13.360] 40 views, not a lot at all. [00:02:16.960] And-- but it's weird, because I have 780 followers here. [00:02:24.400] So it kind of seems like the followers almost [00:02:29.880] don't matter on x related to your posts, [00:02:34.800] because I don't think I'm making bad posts here. [00:02:38.633] So this is something you need to consider when you [00:02:41.707] want to build your own brand, that only focusing [00:02:49.067] on a single profile and platform will probably not get you [00:02:56.307] the result that you're looking for, [00:02:58.747] or you will work harder, feel stressed about it, [00:03:02.347] when you can actually make use of all of these platforms. [00:03:07.533] But anyway, going back to my results here, [00:03:10.413] here is a summary of my different accounts. [00:03:14.933] This one is the UGC content [00:03:16.633] These are my developer videos on YouTube. [00:03:19.833] As you can see, some of these got almost 400 views. [00:03:24.713] And on my first week as well [00:03:28.167] And this is the results for the best post on X this week. [00:03:34.520] So this got 173 impressions. [00:03:38.733] X is a completely or somewhat a hit and miss platform [00:03:45.360] where some of your posts can get tens and thousands [00:03:51.680] of impressions and tens or hundreds of likes. [00:03:59.400] But this is a completely hit and miss. [00:04:02.360] You never know what algorithm will pick. [00:04:07.040] But it's, of course, beneficial to keep trying and keep [00:04:10.320] posting. [00:04:11.880] But I don't recommend spending too much time stressing about it [00:04:16.000] and focusing about it. [00:04:18.280] Maybe try to read and use the platform, [00:04:20.640] see what other people are posting, [00:04:25.120] what gets a bigger reach. [00:04:26.433] What I don't recommend is trying to cheat the algorithm [00:04:30.233] with this kind of hyperbole posts where [00:04:33.993] you will keep repeating insane this, insane that, [00:04:38.713] using all-caps posts. [00:04:41.280] Because if you start getting followers, [00:04:43.680] then these followers will probably [00:04:45.640] expect some kind of a quality from you, [00:04:49.840] not repetitive post spamming. [00:04:52.980] And for next week, I plan to start posting another text [00:04:57.420] based platforms as well. [00:04:59.700] I already started creating my accounts here for, [00:05:04.100] you can see, for Mastodon and Bluesky and also Threads. [00:05:10.967] I think it's quite interesting and really a potential [00:05:16.767] to get a better platform for your ideas [00:05:19.767] to just branch out and start posting on more platforms. [00:05:26.340] And thanks for watching. [00:05:28.260] And if you have any comments, ideas, or better workflows, [00:05:32.100] then let me know in the comments below. [00:05:34.140] And don't forget to subscribe and like. [00:05:37.300] Thanks. [00:05:37.820] Bye.
