Compute / My setup

My compute setup

The macOS workspace, k3s services, Cloudflare edge, PostgreSQL databases and connected local resources behind my products.

01 / Local

The workspace

I develop on macOS and use my local SSD for extra storage. Agents work in Git worktrees, while tmux keeps their sessions available for inspection. SSH, tunnels and relays let me follow the work from my Mac or phone.

02 / Compute

Services on k3s

The hosted parts of my products run on k3s. Deployments, storage and monitoring are shared across products, with Rust and TypeScript used where they fit.

03 / Edge

The public edge

Cloudflare manages the public domains. The edge is the public-facing part of the setup, alongside the hosted application services. This site serves its images and fonts from /cdn.

04 / Data

PostgreSQL databases

PostgreSQL holds product data. Trend Seeker is one example: its database contains collected posts and signal embeddings used to explore demand and product opportunities.

05 / Networking

Connected local resources

I use Tailscale to connect to my local machine for transcription jobs. Alongside the local SSD I use for extra storage, this keeps local resources useful to the wider setup. SSH, tunnels and relays also let me follow agent sessions from my Mac or phone.

Jobs and monitoring

ClawTab runs recurring research and checks, then notifies me when a task needs input. Shared monitoring helps me keep track of the services behind the products.
